Barbora Stehlíková

Barbora is a PhD student in the Department of Sociology, Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University, and a researcher in the Department of Ecological Anthropology, Institute of Ethnology, Czech Academy of Sciences. Her research focuses on e-waste circulation and how the imaginaries of circulation affect the relationship between waste and humans. In 2019, Barbora received an annual award for The Best MA Thesis in Anthropology from the Czech Association for Social Anthropology with a thesis entitled The Morality of the Gift. The same year, she received a doctoral scholarship from the Max Planck Institute for Social Anthropology in Halle.
